“I am posting this review as part of my entry in Walmart's Holiday Sewing Contest.” This unique machine has everything you are looking for, as a beginner to an expert. The compact size allows you to do so much that you would imagine, the 8 stitch allows you to explore with different designs, the foot pedal uniquely design to adjust based on your comfort. I would highly recommend for anyone who is learning to sew or just someone who is already knowledgeable with sewing but want to stay under budget.

I have never sewed before but always like the idea of sewing. I made my first maxi skirt, I was extremely surprise how easy it was to operate it especially for a beginner. The machine comes with a foot pedal which is so easy to use or the option to just hand stitch, it also has a built in light that makes it convenience to focus on the item you are working on. The 8 different stitch adjustments that gives you the flexibility to create different styles using 2 speed. I absolutely love this sewing machine and it is prefect for a beginner like myself. If you looking for a great start, reliability and affordability I would highly recommend this sewing machine. For just $50 the possibilities are endless with what you can create and the 100 piece sewing kit is just a bonus! Best birthday gift ever, as I can wear clothes that I created myself.

I bought this machine for my granddaughter and thought I would try it out before giving it to her. I can't get it to stitch. It's threaded properly as far as I can tell yet the thread from the needle keeps breaking with the first couple of revolutions. I KNOW it's ME... I had a couple of strokes and have some comprehension difficulties. I tried easing up on the tension, yet I still can't get it to work... What am I doing wrong?

Is a nice machine ..... Great for a beginner

I do not do a lot of sewing and just needed something to do a hem or take up something sometime as of now I have lost a lot of weight and did not want to give all of my cloths away so I needed something that I could use to take up a dress or a shirt that was simple This works great. the little thread that comes with it is not good it only comes off a little before it stops and jams. But if you put your own thread on it it works great. I used it for several things before I put it up and now I am adding some more to start again. It is simple and easy to use I love it.
