Microsoft Xbox One 500GB Console with Kinect, Black, 7UV-00015

When I finished setting up the Xbox one, and put in a game disc, it made a grinding noise. My two cousins who had an Xbox said the disc drive didn't work. I was surprised that my Xbox was damaged when I didn't even have it for 24 hours.

This product works as sdvertised. I might have waited longer to buy it but Walmart included 2 free games with console, so I got one. I haven't played Titanfall yet. I was disappointed by Forza 5. It took a week (yes, seriously) to download. You could start playing certain parts of it on the second day but that was an unpleasant surprise. I have downloaded lots of games to my 360 and have had to leave it on for a day to get downloads to complete. Games are bigger on the ONE vs the 360, but I was still surprised. Forza aggravated me and others because they saved cars to download later. It's $60 for the game but another $50 if you want all of the cars. WHAT!? 500 cars in Forza 4, only 200 with Forza 5. Unless you want to pay the extra money to download the rest of the cars, which were available as a DAY ONE download (ready to be downloaded the day the game was available in stores). Titanfall, which was on disc, loaded in less than one day. I also downloaded 2 free games with Gold, Max and Spartan Assault, in less than one day. Something else to be aware of: with just these 2 full games and these 2 "xboxLive arcade games" about 15% of my available memory (hard drive space) is used up. My understanding is that games like Titanfall cannot be played unless installed to hard drive. It won't be long before I will have to begin uninstalling games to be able to install new ones. We may very well be able to attach external hard drives to the ONE to hold more games in the future. We will have to wait and see. I think you can use USB memory now but on game might fill up a 64 GB flash drive. Having to buy a memory stick for each game could get expensive.

I was surprised by how well everything works as advertised. The kinnect is much improved over previous model. Games are noticeable crisper and smoother. My only minor gripe so far is that you can't do some of the features you did in xbox 360, mainly Windows Media Center. I'm sure with time it will be added.

I bought the XBOX one when it first came out; I have the Wii, XBOX 360, and PS3 in the house to accommodate the whole family’s taste; for this reason, I believe that I have the experience and authority to honestly say that, the XBOX one is an excellent upgrade to XBOX360, depending on the games that you like playing. The voice commands are definitely more accurate in the XBOX one compared to the 360, and the graphics are better. There are some differences in the way the Kinect works. With the XBOX one, you need a lot of lighting; the more lighting you have the better your movements are going to be traced, specially for games like Just dance, and Rivals, which Microsoft forgot to include in the instructions. However, just like I found that out on my own, there are also some other amazing little tricks that you will discover while getting to know this device. Also, the fact that, you won’t need a gold membership to access entertainment apps, plus free games every month, makes it more attractive. Just a Little advice: if you decide to keep your XBOX360, you can save money by playing some titles that look and react similarly on both, like AC Black flag. Also, my personal opinion is that XBOX one is the Kinect itself; if you are going to buy just the tower without the Kinect, you might as well don’t upgrade; but like I said, I am a Kinect gamer, so I will always be partial towards it.

I received the item much sooner than expected. Best value with a choice of a free game and a free game download. Most other stores were charging the same price for just the game console. No damage at all to the packages and the game console works excellent as expected. I would recommend this item to everyone.
