Microsoft Zune Car Pack - Accessory kit for digital player - for Zune

I am impressed with how well this works. It was very easy to hook up. For the most I don't pick up static but sometimes I will go through an area where I get some for a few seconds or a minute or so but not enough to be annoying at all. It picks the stations up for you that you can use and you just have to see which one(s) works best for you. I did notice more static when I was in the mountains but I did not try to change the station. It did not last long. So I imagine if you are in the mountains or way out in the "booneys" you may have to go back and forth between stations or endure some static for a bit.

The Zune is great but, the car pack is worthless. Yes, it works good as a car charger but, through the radio there is a lot of static. We have plenty of unused stations and I couldn't find one after an hour searching for one that would come in clear. I got the car pack free with a package but there is no way I would pay $99.99 for it. Much better transmitters for less money.

I was going to buy this at Best Buy because they had it in stock, but I was able to get it a lot cheaper from walmart.com and it is the same exact thing, I just had to wait a few more days for it to ship. Love it and definitely worth the money! I had a universal one, but they wouldn't charge the Zune and that would be annoying, especially on long car rides.

I received this with the Zune as a package deal. So the value was great and the product does work as advertised. I did not realize just how many radio satations had some kind of broadcast on them. I usually listen to maybe 5 or 6 stations but when trying to find a free station it seemed like almost every station was occupied. once you find a free station the FM transmitter works well.

The product works pretty well. Though I find myself frequently having to change the radio station in order to get clear audio. However that could be due to the area I am driving through. The only reason that I gave this product a "good" rating for value is because it came as a free bonus with the Zune purchase. I would not rate it much of a value if I had paid full price. Its easy to use.
