Some reviewers had trouble with the wire being uncomfortable. I think it is the best headset I have used for staying in place and feeling comfortable. Works well with the Midland Radio, but if you are around loud noise ( ATV or Motorcycle ) the VOX feature won't work. The inline mic switch works quite well

The Midland headset is poor fitting - speaker side doesn't fit well to ear. The volume on the radio had to be turned to its full - highest setting to hear any sound from the headset, and then it was still very low volume. After reading some blogs on Midland headsets, it seems the volume issue is very common. Also, I felt as if I had to speak very loudly into the mic, for the other person to hear me at all. Kind of defeats the purpose of the headset. On a positive note - the mic was very good at eliminating wind noise - but it might just be a function of the wind wasn't loud enough. Excellent connecting system and cord was way more than long enough for anybody. I returned everything and am still looking for headsets to fill my need. Disappointed!

These headsets are stylish, and you hear more clear connected to a midland two way radio. It hurts your ear during long periods of use, but other than that, it is a good piece of equipment to have.
