It is perfect for eating on but its probably too small for a laptop.

We bought the Mind Reader Portable Laptop Lap Desk with Handle, Monitor Holder, Laptop Lap Holder, Built-in Cushion for Comfort, In Red color and it is perfect for my little friend to read her books and to even get her nails done. We are extremely happy with this purchase. I would highly encourage anyone needing this to get it, you will not regret it that is for certain.

In general, I like the design. But within a month or two it was leaking little white foam balls everywhere. Would not purchase again.

It is very comfortable and light. Works well as a laptop TV Dinner stand.

I had previously ordered a lap desk that ended up being way to wide, I should have checked the measurements first. I returned it and bought this one. This is the perfect little lap desk and fits perfectly across my lap on the recliner I use, it fits right between the arms. I was just sitting my laptop on my lap and it would heat up quickly, so would my lap! No longer have that problem. Great for just sitting and working on any paperwork also. Great little item.
