Mineral Fusion Lipstick Butter - Blackberry , 0.06 oz Lipstick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Luscious lib butter recently. I love the fact that your products are much more safe than other cosmetics, but I wish you'd would make warmer neutral / nude lip colors for the lip butter and lipstick lines. It's moisturizing and feels great!

I am still evaluating the product. Seems like it is good. However, the packaging and labeling need attention. I purchased 3 colors and I need a magnifying glass to tell which is which because the lettering is very small and then something is printed diaganolly over the name of the color.

I am surprised by the reviews that find it moisturinzing. I prefer a lipstick that does not need gloss added, but this one is fairly matte and kind of dry. But the color is good and I like the slim tube that makes it easy to apply. I may try a lip gloss or tint in this brand because I am a fan of (mostly) natural ingredients.

To start…I wanted to love these. I purchased Honeysuckle, Delicious, and Vine for reference. For starters, they weren't glossy on me at all, like the Live Camera makes you believe. Honeysuckle and Delicious pulled super orange, which doesn't look good on my skin tone. That was pretty unfortunate since Delicious is described as a ‘mauve berry.” Not even close! The third shade, Vine, is a pretty color but was splotchy and had a chunky texture. Hoping for a refund! These were just a no for me all around!! : (

The color is beautiful and the texture is nice. Also love the new packaging because I know I am getting a fresh one (I.e., not expired). I just thought that a product called lip “butter” would be a bit more smooth and creamy with a glossy finish. The finish in this is satin and I was wanting more shine. I'm not disappointed and the product still lives in my purse, but I was looking for a one and done lip product…a lipstick/balm hybrid with a glossy finish that I didn't need to top with a gloss. I would recommend the lippie in the stick format (my fave!!) or the lipstick in this line. Both are better, imo.
