Minwax Honey Maple, Gel Stain, 1/2 Pint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typically i prefer Minwax oil based penetrating stain but i wanted a little change for this piece. I used “aged oak” for the first time. Applied it thick and wiped it back immediately. It created the prettiest stain color to highlight the woodgrain and i will DEFINITELY be using it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works really well to help touch up any wood chips or scratches. I took a gamble with picking the color online, but it matches perfectly and does a nice job of minimizing the appearance of scratches and dents. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gel stain workwd great. The gloss finish with the color was great. We can tell that this stain will hold for quite a while. The color worked great with our porch. We are thinking of staining everything else this color.

I bought this for a project I never did so when I needed something for the trim in my daughters room I decided to try it. It dried to a nice deep color and I had no problem with coverage. Most of it only required one coat. I went back over places where there were imperfections in the wood. I will definitely use this product again!
