Minwax Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner, Clear, 1 Pint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have used minwax products for years. it is a stain i can grab and know what i am getting. this new pre-stain wood conditioner is a terrific product. makes the stain go on so easily and gives a nice consistent finish. especially on maple that tends to take dark stains blochy.

The step was necessary and I would not stain without it now. The stain just went on without blotchy spots and this seemed to make such a big difference.
