[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have used minwax products for years. it is a stain i can grab and know what i am getting. this new pre-stain wood conditioner is a terrific product. makes the stain go on so easily and gives a nice consistent finish. especially on maple that tends to take dark stains blochy.

This conditioner makes evnlen the most novice worker look great, preventing blotches, and creating a perfectly uniform finish. It allows every bit if wood to soak up the stain with Profesional results.

The smell is not overpowering when it's being used and it goes on so smooth. It's very glossy and a little bit goes a long way. It also dries fairly quick. Great Product!
