Mission-Style Coffee Table, Black

I needed a table to go under my HDTV in the bedroom. This table fits perfectly and works great for holding my Xbox and HTPC. I don't have a Walmart in my area (Chicago downtown) so I ordered online. Unfortunately the top was damaged when it arrived. Walmart credited me back $27.00 which was nice of them. As other have said the table is not very sturdy. Since I don't have kids running around I think it will do fine. Assembly was simple however I would purchase an additional bottle of wood glue in advance - the amount included was not sufficient to get the job done.

This product came in in good shape. I really like the style of it. Putting it together wasnt so much fun. My husband had a really hard time getting it together. It says in the manual not use the wood glue on a certain piece, i cant remember which one, but you will have to use the wood glue on it. Now that we have it together I really like it, its a little tall for where we have it, so make sure you are looking at your measurements! haha. One of the reasons I chose to purchase this particular table was the bottom shelf area so we could have some things down there as well, however it is NOT very sturdy, I cant even rest my feet on it without it feeling like it might break! But other than those couple things its very nice!

I was happy to find this coffee table online--I needed a black table that was the same height as my sofa. This fit the bill perfectly. There were some glitches on the assembly because the instructions didn't offer tips that would have been helpful (for instance, the two ends of the T-nut are different--make sure you keep the slotted end pointed out so you can orient it to line up with the bolt). The finished product looks great and seems very sturdy. This is a great solution.

My husband put the table together and the only comment he had was that there was a "nick" on the corner of the table and the manufacturer noticed the imperfection and they made a slight repair to the table, but the "nick" is still noticable. Overall, it looks good and goes nicely with the matching end tables. Very nice for the price.

When I received it there was a bit of a split and a couple chips of wood off on one corner but no biger than 1 inch by 2 mm. I took a black marker to them and I can't see them anymore. Other than that the table is really nice. It looks great with a runner going across. This also helps to prevent scratches. Or you could put a coat of laquer over the top. I have a futon so the table is a bit high. It looks great with a couple of large baskets on the lower level. Altogether its a steal for the price even with the accesories.
