Dont waste your time with this exercise machine. Every time I use it the display randomly resets on me. So if you are counting calories or timing yourself this machine in VERY unreliable. This machine has 2 functions, it has an elliptical and a bike. I'm 5'7 and when im using the bike it seems like i have to really stretch out my arms to reach the handles (the seat adjusts but not forward). When you use the elliptical function the momentum doesn't carry over with your strides, it feels more like a stepper. The main reason I came to write this review is because the actual frame cracked on me. The bottom of the frame is shaped like a letter I and it just cracked where the frame meets the middle bar. The weight capacity is 400 pounds, I only weigh 200. I've only had this for 3 weeks now. Stay away

I purchased this machine from a local Wal-Mart store where it was one of two on display. I thought that was rather odd, but after I bought it, I was certain it was already assembled because it had been returned. I am returning it as well. The design is brilliant. Sit down or stand up, manual tension control in front of you. The first problem was the short stride. I could get used to that, but the handles cannot be reached when you sit (and there is nothing to hold onto.) When standing, the handles are way too far forward, forcing you to strain your back leaning forward. My husband has a spinal cord injury that causes poor balance. This was a terrible machine for him. All that said, the quality is good enough and easy to use. I didn't read the reviews before I bought the machine, but even if I had, I wouldn't have realized these problems. No more machines unless I can try them out! Thought people should be aware, though.

the machine does not have much of a range to stride in. to short of a range which makes it more hard to work.

Price is great. Wish the item would not break so easily. I have tried contacting Weslo and the company manages to be closed during business hours lol. I plan on taking this item back as soon as i get my new machine.

Unit seemed nice, but out of the box, the digital console did NOT work. The numbers would light up, but they would not register with rotation with the flywheel. All connections were made correctly, but the magnetic pick-up was bad. At least, Walmart is very accommodating with their returns.
