The first thing you notice when you unpack the game is the updated property names and game pieces. Airports instead of railroads, famous ball parks, and VERY high prices (In the millions). For example, you collect $2 million bucks to pass go! And the biggy, no cash, a Credit card! I liked it, it refreshed the game. You gotta have a banker who pays attention or you're in trouble. BTW, bought it for my 15 yo grandson for Christmas. I also commend Wal Mart for their delivery AS PROMISED by Christmas though I ordered late..

This is a nice upgrade from the traditional game. It gives younger family members a chance to take on the roll of "Banker" because the bank card system takes a lot of the math out of the Game. I would like to point out that the banking system can become tedious if there are several players and it may be a good idea to designate someone as banker. All in All it makes for hours of family fun!

The game was as enjoyable as the old game, but was complicated by the fact that no one really knew how much money they had. You had to swipe your credit card with the banker to get a balance. This could be sorted with a pen and paper, but then you lose the electronic part of the game. Not knowing how much you had made it difficult to quietly strategize and ponder what your next purchace would be. One good side was it showed my kids the risks of credit cards. It is amazing how quickly you can lose all your money if you don't really realize where the money is going or you don't check you balance regularly. Over all I would give it the thumbs up as a learning experience.

We played this with our 12 yr old son over the holiday's & had a great time. It's very similar to the traditional Monopoly, just kicked up a notch. The only negative I could say is that it takes a just a little longer to play with the electronic banking device because you have to keep inserting people's credit cards and entering the data, rather than just handing someone paper money.

While my nephew loved the game he had some problems in remembering which side to place the cards in so as to debit or credit each players account. Since children want to operate the game it would be quite easy for them to 'cheat' and place a person paying rent into one getting rent or not punching in the correct property amount or hitting the go button (which automatically gives you your money for going around go) multiple times. Children do not learn to count or add - it is all done for them in this version. You buy a property and you just punch in the amount - only then do you find out if you have enough money. Our nephew did not want to look at the balance and figure out if he had enough, he wanted the machine to tell him. Monopoly is always fun so it's still enjoyable - you'll just need to watch carefully how money is deducted/added to each players card. Kids love it.
