Only been using a few days but far superior to the vtech we had been using and went through 2 different units. This one is plenty loud easy set up, screen isn't the largest but is big enough to see whats going on. Only flaw I've seen is there's no wall mounting option for the camera unless you devise it on your own but some 3m two sided tape solves thst easily.

For what it is, it's not bad. Cons: The battery is not very good, like others have mentioned. But i don't mind having it plugged in at night. At least the battery makes it through a day of naps. The talk back feature echos from the camera a bit. My LO doesn't know what to think of it yet. Comes with basic set up instructions, but as for use instructions, i had to look them up. Does not come with a wall mount, sold separately. Night vision will come on if the room is not bright enough. Pros: Picture is great in both daytime and nighttime. Only a fraction of a second lag, not bad at all. Catches every sound and hiccup. Good for the price compared to others on market.

The picture is clear and the sound quality comes through very loud and clear. Definitely a good bang for your buck if you're not looking for all of the bells and whistles. Although it does have have temperature, plays songs, and has night vision. I'm sure there are a few other features that I haven't discovered yet. It does not come with a wall mount to secure it to the wall, which means you will have to buy and additional piece. It would have been nice to have everything needed included in the box. The additional piece cost between $5 and $10. This is why my rating is 4 out of 5.

This is a great monitor for the price. I had another one that lasted us a little over 7 years, but I still needed a monitor for my baby daughter. Pros: This monitor displays a clear colored image, it can be mounted on a wall. It plays different soothing sounds for small infants and toddlers. It even has the temperature reading from the room where the camera is located. There is also a talk back feature that can help sooth a crying child. You can use multiple cameras connected to the same hub. Also allows you to record images up to 60 minutes with play back feature. Cons: The only down side is that the camera doesn't have a turn on/off button, you have to physically disconnect the power cord from the camera.

I may have cheated it out of a 5-star rating by not charging up the batteries in the monitor enough the very first time. The instructions said to charge them for 16 hours. I plugged the monitor into the AC cord, but I also turned it on and used it (plugged in) during that 16 hours. So, the first time I used it unplugged, it only lasted a few hours before I had to plug it in again. Otherwise, I really like it. I walked upstairs and outside and still got a picture.
