Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Glass Commercial Coffee Decanter

I was pleased to find a replacement for my broken carafe that appeared nearly identical to the original. Item arrived promptly and well packaged. For some reason, the spout on the new carafe drips and spills coffee nearly every time we pour from it, which is messy and frustrating. I no longer have the original carafe to compare the shape of the spout, but something is different.

I bought a replacement carafe but the length of time it took was unacceptable. After I ordered it I found that I could have purchased a whole new coffee maker, the same one I currently have, for about what I paid for just the carafe! AND I wouldn't have had to wait 3 weeks to get it. I won't be purchasing Mr coffee makers in the future.

The original carafe did not leak when you poured a cup a coffee. This replacement leaks every time, all over the counter and down the cabinets. We now have to pour our coffee over the sink. Very unhappy. Also, the glass is very thin and I don't think it will be too long before this one cracks as well.

I bought the replacement carafe when my original one (that came with the coffee maker less than one year ago) developed a huge crack for no apparent reason. The new carafe is not cracked, but it LEAKS hot coffee when pouring...thus I must now only pour coffee over my sink or else clean up my counter after each cup. I love the actual coffee maker, but am very disappointed with the carafes.

Just today the replacement carafe was broken by an aide. So glad I had purchased two, just in case. I did not realize there were so many different ones' available. Fortunately, I still had the product pamphlet indicating the model (TJX)from when I purchased the coffeemaker 9 years ago. My first replacement was first used less than 2 months ago. Plus, I saved money by not having to pay the shipping charges. I need my coffee in the A.M. to get my day going. I am 84 years of age and coffee makes my day better.
