MTD Products, RM1025SPS Ranger, 10 in. 8-Amp 2-in-1 Electric Pole saw/Chainsaw

This was the easiest limb trimming I have ever done.Trim the limbs then detach the saw from the pole and cut up the limbs.Very surprised with the ample power.

Now I ordered the longer of two of this Remington electric pole saw. I have two of them one still works. The other was used about four times over a year's period and the pole broke first then a plastic gear broke on the inside. The original one still works. Even though once again I ordered the longer one which extends to 14' online the shorter 10' arrived. This is a online catalog product listing problem. Even though its listed as the more expensive longer one it shows up at Checkout screen as the 10' saw in price but In description says it extends to 14'. So Beware if you want the longer one, make sure it does not change to the 10ft length at checkout. So until I find a way to correct this listing online problem I had to immediately return it.

Great for tree trimming for limbs two to seven inches. Hard to read the oil level through the window on the side. I had to remove the cap to keep checking the oil. Easy to use for a woman even when using at the full 15 foot extension.

I love it,,, I cut down the branch that was troubling me and took and separated the saw from the pole and cut up the other part of the branch,,my neighbor go,,,,can I have those wood blocks,,they would be right for my fireplace..........:-)

This little saw is a really mighty workhorse! If I could attach a photo of all that I've cut down with it, it would be a picture worth a 1,000 words! For a small, electric chainsaw, I was amazed by what I was able to cut with it! I personally only used it without the pole, but a male friend used it with the pole to cut higher branches. He says it does require some upper body strength, which I don't have, but he says it worked well with the pole, as well. We cut a LOT of tree branches with this! Branches way "fatter" than I would have expected it to be able to cut! Of course, I have only owned it for a short time, so I can say anything about its durability but it has already cut a ton of stuff for me and I am absolutely DELIGHTED with it!
