With my sister breastfeeding, I knew that the electric sterilizer was the perfect gift to help her keep the parts sterilized as well as bottles. It is the perfect size for keeping on the counter without feeling like it takes up a bunch of room. The two separate compartments (made possible with an included tray) make it easy to sterilize bottles and larger pieces while keeping smaller pieces safe and secure on the tray above. It doesn't take long to sterilize items and since it has plenty of room as the baby gets older it can be used to sterilize toys and other items he will come into contact with. It has tongs to remove the items which helps keep the items clean as you store them away till needed. It is easy to use and that is a benefit for moms who are short on time. It turns off automatically after it is done and even has a light to show you when it is cooling down. Both of these are beneficial to new parents. Munchkin has been a trusted brand in our family and continues to be with another great item. This is a great gift for new moms and even moms who already have children.

I am incredibly impressed with this bottle sterilizer. With our first 2 children, my wife breastfed and didn't use any bottles so I wasn't familiar with needing to clean them. We were recommended this by my sister as she used this with all of her kids. You don't have to spend all day washing the bottles and parts as you can just stick them in here and in 6 mins it's done! It's a time and sanity saver, especially when my wife has asked if the bottles are clean yet!

With my toddler going back to daycare and an infant in the home, I use this once every other day to sterilize my kids' toys, bottles and breast pump parts. I was using a microwave sterilizer prior to receiving this and it didn't hold as many items as the electric sterilizer. I appreciate that there are two sections: the lower half for bottles and the upper portion for smaller items. This is much more convenient and not as time consuming since you can sterilize multiple items in one shot. It works well but a drying function would be a great addition. I love the Munchkin Clean Electric Sterilizer. It helps make the cleaning process for bottles and all the parts! It's easy to step up and use. It's so easy to use that even my husband doesn't mind helping cleaning bottles with it! I even put pacifiers in to sterile. I wish I had this for my first baby! I wish I had this item when my twins were babies. This sterilizer is a timer saver and so easy to use. I was able to set it up in less than 5 minutes. There is plenty of room for various size bottles, nipples, pacis, teethers, and small toys. I was thinking this would be great to bring to work if you need to sterilize your breast pump accessories. I would recommend this product to any new mom or dad.
