Murray - Murray Blower / Vac

Fortunately, I live in an area where we can get Ethanol Free Gasoline. Nearly all of my power tools vastly improved in performance once i switched to Ethanol Free Gas. The ethanol clogs and degrades plastic parts. Its not so much the tool as the gas. My backup generator, lawn mower, weed-wacker and blower have now been running trouble free for three years. I am 71 years old and this blower is one of the worst pieces of c__p I have ever owned. It worked for about three days and then it started missing and then would die.It will crank now and run but within 3 to 5 minutes it will start choking down and eventually it will die. I have tried to find a carb for it but after searching the internet I have been unsuccessful. If Wallyworld is going to sell this disaster blower they ought to be required to sell the parts for it. I would not recommend this product to an enemy much less a friend. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT-YOU WILL PROBABLY BE DISAPPOINTED LIKE I WAS.

This blower works great for about the first three time you use it. Then it won't start. I was stupid and bought two of these after the first one gave me problems. Well the second one did the same exact thing. It is unbelievable that they could sell something like this. I have blisters from trying to start this thing. Plus it isn't exactly easy to pull that cord. I suggest not getting a Murray because you will be very sorry. I suspect the people who had good reviews either have not used the thing more than three times or are fortunate to have a good one. But after having two of them with the exact same symptoms I am not at all pleased.

Started out of box on third pull. My brother in law has the Stihl 55 and this unit blows harder than the Stihl. A friend of mine has the Poulan Pro model and it is the exact same model as the walmart brand (just different color). The unit comes with vac attachment as well as one bottle of 2 cycle oil to mix 1 gallon of gas. The unit is slightly heavier than the Stihl, but not much. It vacuums up leaves (wet or dry) very well. Hope this review helps you in deciding which brand to purchase. I've used mine for one month so far without any issues yet.

I researched several different leaf blowers at all price ranges. After doing a comparison this blower seemed to the be the best value for the at this specification. Opening and putting together the blower was a simple process and was completed in less than 10 minutes. After the first use I was very impressed with the overall performance of the product. This blower is powerful enough to push through almost any job and at this price it far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a consumer leaf blower. Hard to beat this value.
