Murray 25cc 2-cycle 430cfm Hand Held Blower

Before I purchased this blower I read the reviews on it and saw there were a number of negative comments. I thought I would take a chance anyway. When I got it home I assembled it and tried to start it. Very hard to start and once it did start it did not want to go up to high speed. After several attempts it did go up to high speed but slowly died. I tried it several more times, each attempt resulted in the same result. It's going back to the store this afternoon. And I will not buy another one

It took me 2 1/2 months before returning this blower but I did. First of all out of the box it took 12-15 pulls before it would start. I have a lot of experience starting small engines and this one was difficult. Then once started it seemed to lack power/compression. However after each use it did become much easier to start plus the motor seemed to tighten up a bit and had more power. The deal breaker was for some reason after about 25 minutes of continuous use the motor would out of nowhere lose power then shortly after that just die. No matter what I tried it wouldn't start. After that not even a split second of wanting to start, just nothing. After letting it cool off (a good 45 minutes) then it would start back up with no problems until the next time it got hot. I even bought a new spark plug but no improvement. After doing a little research it seems to me that when it gets real hot the ignition/coil is cutting out thus no spark until it cools down. I don't want to own a blower that I can only use until it gets hot. From my experience I never really had any confidence is Murray products and now with this latest experience I'll probably never purchase another again.

Works better than my father's echo! Three pulls runs like a charm! Absolutely tickled to death ab this blower for the price!
