My Life As 18" Schoolgirl Doll, African American

Beautiful doll, nice hair, nice outfit. The BIG PROBLEM is the legs are barely movable. This doll can NOT sit down. If you try to sit her, you will NOT be able to readjust her legs to the original position. Her legs, with much force will go out to a wide split. It takes a lot of work to try to get her legs straight again (Which does not happen in the original position). I only tried this once, I cannot imagine a child doing this repeatedly. I made the mistake of buying six of these dolls before trying them out. I'm going to try to take them back as I bought them for my grandchildren to play with when they visit. This must be the reason Wal-Mart is marking this doll down.

I told my two teenage daughters that I was going to purchase this doll for myself, they seemed to be embarrassed & upset about the idea that I, a 41 year old woman wanted a doll. They said it was a waste of MY money. I beg to differ, this doll is worth every penny spent! I showed her to my mother and my father, They said "We understand why you purchased this doll, it looks exactly like you!" Yes, her hair, eyes, glasses, round face looks like mine lol. I named her after my deceased grandma. I couldn't believe it when I saw my mother and father playing with this doll, she is so precious. After seeing the doll, my daughter said that she wanted one and she made me promise not to tell her friends. This doll is great for any age woman, the little girl inside of me wanted this doll and now she is happy as can be!

My 3-yr old niece loves this doll...says this is her best friend ...so she dresses & style her hair for school and shopping.

My God daughter was sooo happy to get this doll for Christmas. It was bigger than I expected but that is a good thing. The accessories really set it off.

Finally toy makers are manufacturing dolls of color that isn't just the Caucasian version with a tan! This dolls looks just like my niece and she loves it! it would be nice to see even darker skinned dolls as well.
