Nady DKW DUO - Microphone system

I was a karaoke host for many years and have used several different types of equipment at different price points. These mics continue to blow me away with how they sound. I have had available mics that cost three times as much and singers have continuously asked me to use the Nady cordless mics. And it's not just the newbie singers, it's the experienced ones too! There are some reviews that say the mics just didn't work at all and they got very few stars. Obviously there can be a clunker every once in awhile but giving a poor review on something that's not working at all just doesn't make sense. A proper review should be done on an item that's actually working. ONE WORD OF CAUTION! Something that I can't deny is that the mics are made of cheap plastic and the battery compartment piece is very thin and breaks easily. It usually happens when singers feel they need to screw the cap on tighter and it ends up cracking. What I usually do before my first show with a new system is I take a piece of electrician's tape and wrap it around the battery cap piece which will prohibit people from screwing it on tighter. Also, the dual antenna bend very easily! Depending on the size of your room it is not always necessary to extend the antenna to its fullest length. I find I usually never have to extend them all the way. The shorter you can keep your antenna rods, the less chance you'll have of them getting bent and breaking. Despite the precautions that I take with this system, it is well worth it! These mics - for whatever reason - just make a singer sound better. Buy them!

The mics are a very good product

I was not Happy with Nady DKW Duo VHF Handheld Wireless Microphone System No matter what i did i could not get rid of the feed back ,and there was constant signal drop. Very dis satisfied.

I received the microphone system as scheduled. It did not come with batteries so I went out and purchased them 2 9volts for each microphone. Is short the microphones never worked. I returned them.
