L12SW Powered Subwoofer

Currently I have only used it for movies and it sounds great. I used to DJ and when I moved the old Sony I had stopped working. Have not used it in that capacity but for the home theater it is just great!

Replaced a $300 KLH subwoofer that died after a few years. Was hesitant to purchase this subwoofer but the reviews convinced me otherwise. After a couple weeks it compares very well with my previous more expensive subwoofer.

Very compatable w/t my 600 watt surround system. I use it in a 12x15 livingroom and it works great!!!! I would say this unit could be used in a room up to 25' from seating. It gets it done, easy hook-up.

I unpackaged this speaker, it is large, and installed it behind my 48" LCD about 10" off the hardwood floor. I put on a nature video with deep, rumbling, volcano music and, having turned the bandwidth to maximum, increased the volume untill it filled in all the lows and harmonized with my left and right two-way speakers. The sound is full with no distortion and when I played some assorted drum solos the drum strikes as crisp and discreet and distinct as live. I am extremely pleased with the sound, build quality, fit and finish, looks, price, and convenience of having it delivered to my neighborhood WalMart. My room is 14' by 16' with minimal upholstry and I cannot use more than 60% power when I have the system 'cranked up'. I recommend this speaker without reservation. I am very proud of this purchase.

This thing does what you want. Goes deep and blends well. It takes a while for the sub to loosen up and then speaks well. I may open it and add a blanket.......but maybe not.......it really works pretty well. I wish there was a 15" version on offer.
