I've used this with and without a primer but it still highlights my texture. The color is off too. Not what I expected from Nars.

Works well. The "tint" is more opaque than I expected, but it blends out without much trouble. Sometimes I mix it with a drop of regular moisturizer to spread it more easily. The fragrance is not very strong, but it is irritating to my eyes, so I have to be careful to use only a very light amount of this moisturizer. This happens to me with some fragrances, so I prefer to buy unscented when available.

Aside from mascara, this is the one product I cannot live without. It has made such a difference in my skins appearance! I started using it about 9 years ago when i was in my late 30s - all of a sudden I looked in the mirror I thought "I need some anti-aging products!" and simply using sunscreen everyday, regardless of how much I am outside, has made the number one biggest improvement in my skin. I throughly wash my face at night so first thing in the morning I only need to wipe it with witch hazel then I apply a vitamin c serum and finish with my NARS tinted moisturizer SPF. I do not like the look or feel of foundation and this is a nice in-between. The tint smooths out my skin, somewhat hides and blurs out the imperfections, spots, scars, you name it, so it still looks natural. I feel so much more confident wearing this that I won't go without it, even if I'm staying home. And I've noticed the protection of SPF has allowed my skin to heal, let other products work and I've actually seen a reverse in the aged look of my skin. It looks better now than it did before I started using this and I've been saying this for years! A little goes a long way and it's 100% worth the price. Buy it.

I have been on the hunt for my go to base product, and I think I've found it. This is labeled as a tinted moisturizer, but I would say it has light to medium coverage and does a great job evening out my skin while still looking like skin. It also somehow magically melts into my skin and doesn't look like it's sitting on top.
