Nars Sheer Glow Foundation Dark 5 Zambie 1.0oz/30ml New With Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coverage foundation that lasts all day! This foundation is a medium-full coverage (Not sheer) with a soft radiant finish to it. Even though this is a radiant foundation it does not look wet on the skin so means its a long wearing foundation that doesnt easily transfer. I am a professional makeup artist and use alot of this in my kit because I find it works well with different skin types & is very buildable which makes it such a diverse foundation.

After trying 3 shades all wrong matched by Nars Consultants. This is my 4th foundation purchase. Shade matched by myself and its perfect. For anyone looking for a match to the equivalent to Mac NC30/NC37 try Stromboli. Its perfect. Anyone who is a Mac NC20 try Punjab and if you are an NC40 try Barcelona. If you are an NC42 try the shade Vanautu. Slightly darker then that is Strachur. Beautiful consistency, no flashback. Photographs beautifully. Highly recommend.

Bought this last week. Firstly, having to buy the separate pump is ridiculous but I was willing to let that slide for some good foundation. One thing I will say about Nars is the shades are great. The undertones are on point. Anyway....the foundation reminds me of BB cream which would be ok if the foundation didn't cost as much. After applying, it is quite wet, bit too wet for my liking. Who knew powder would be a dry girls best friend so quickly?? To cut a long story short. In a few hours I came out looking greasy and I have dry skin. So it's a no from me.

I bought this foundation about 6 weeks ago and I've used it about 6 times. When I first got matched up to this foundation in harvey nics, I absolutely loved it. However since using it I've found it to be very cakey, heavy and drying for my skin. I have dehydrated dry skin and this foundation just highlights all my imperfections! Such a shame as the colour is literally perfect, it matches my skin tone so well :(

I have a bit mixed feelings but this is the ONLY foundation that does not break me out and has EXACT SHADE match. I have an oily, acne prone skin and I do struggle to keep it to last entire day, it usually start breaking apart after 4+ hours, and it does not sit perfectly around my nose area, however all other foundations I've tried , Estee Lauder DW, MAC, Revlon ...they break me out so bad and i rather keep applying throughout the day than deal with cystic acne. I believe the staying power is also down to primer, i havent found a right one yet, and long lasting, pore minimizing primers (silicone) , break me out :( One star off for lasting power but high five to good ingredients list, im glad it has no direct silicone deprived compounds!
