National Hardware - V29 Automatic Gate Latch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Automatic Gate Latches-Stainless Steel a few weeks ago. e finally got to using them over the weekend. We have mini horses and one of our pastures didn't have the latches. It was easy for us to install and it works perfectly. Love these latches. I went out and got a few more. It is fingertip easy from either way. And I LOVE that it is stainless steel.

We used for our gate to our on ground pool as we were redoing the pool house and needed a new door to secure the area. My husband is a skilled DIY project coordinator and he found these very easy to work with.

I have switched to these MaxLatch™ Gate Latches in Stainless Steel because they don't rust and/or corrode like some other brands. I also like that they operate smooth without catching - which is especially helpful when you are opening the gate one handed. Simple design, made well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very heavy duty latch. It is well made. It was very easy to install and the latch mechanisms moves smoothly. The latch holds very well and is very strong. It is child proof, I have a three year old granddaughter that can open the gate latch we had but she hasn't figured this one out yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are by far the best gate latches I have ever had. I got through alot of latches and hinges due to children coming through my gates. These latches are stainless steel and are heavy duty and sturdy. I am convinced these will last a very long time.
