NESCO® American Snackmaster Express Food Dehydrator

I LOVE this machine. made several batches of jerky which was a blast. everything the manufacturer said has been spot on correct. I even bought extra trays and screens for fruit. I would recommend this highly...best thing I ever bought. shipping was super fast and so was the delivery of the trays . good quality plastic trays and the motor is quiet. I do wish it had an on and off switch , however; you never need to worry if you left it on, by just unplugging it. I never have to worry if my freezer goes off, because dried food lasts and lasts on my shelves...never again worry about losing a freezer full of meat that cost a pretty penny, and the waste would make me sick.... dried is the way to store up on food for any emergencies. Love this and buy it with confidence !!!

I purchased the dehydrator primarily for making jerky, but have also dehydrated a bunch of bananas, and a package of strawberries. The recipe/instruction book that came with the dehydrator provided enough information so that the jerky that I made turned out like it came right out what you would buy in a store.

Read all the reviews then bough this Dehydrator. Great purchase, this thing works terrific. I am using it to dry Ghost Chili's and it dries quickly and evenly throughout. Adjustable temperature lets you start at low heat at first, then you can raise it up to make things as crispy as you like. One warning that has nothing to do with the unit, if you dehydrate hot peppers, be careful doing that inside the house, the vapors can be eye and lung irritant. Great device, would recommend to everyone.

This was recommended to me, by a friend. It is quiet other than the sound of air.i like that it came with instructions on how to prepare plants for dehydrating!

works great and much faster than another one without a fan, the only very slight issue is the printing on the cover for temperatures can wipe off easily.
