NETGEAR - EAX15 AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Wall Plug Range Extender and Signal Booster - White

For the record, Netgear asked me to fill out this review. I was going to round file this thing and forget about it. I was gifted this extender by a friend who thought we'd find it useful. The issue is it's entirely unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why. When it's not working, we can unplug it and plug it back in and it'll work for 30, 45, 60 minutes, maybe 12 hours, or maybe 10 minutes. This is pretty in line with my experience with Netgear equipment: overpriced and poor quality. I avoid them.

Did not boost or extend anything. Set up was difficult and it was unclear that each device would have to be connected to the extender separately as if it were a whole new wifi system. The app is complete crap. It doesn't recognize your login or separate admin login; can't reset admin login despite it appearing you can. Can't rename connected devices so you know exactly what they are. Absolute garbage in every aspect.

Great price and easy setup. Now I have wi-fi all over the house.

This mesh extender works way better than I expected. Boosted Internet speed in a far corner of the house from 20 Mb download to over 400 Mb download. Definitely exactly what I was looking for, and it doesn't create a second network so I didn't have to switch over any connected devices! Works like a charm!

I got this device connected to my WiFi pretty easily but then WiFi quit working all together. I tried everything I knew and even had to get my provider involved. Finally unplugged device, reset the WiFi system and things are all good now so not sure what happened but I returned the device because it just didn't work for me.
