Neutrogena Hbl Nga Norwegian Soothing Wrap Ltn 8.5fo

I have used other skin moisturizers an my skin felt sticky or gummy so a year ago I started buying the moisture wrap. I will not use anything else. My skin loves the clean an hydrated having been diagnosed with skin cancer I am really happy I found my Neutrogena moisture wrap.

The skin on my left lower leg changed (very dry and scaly) following a total knee replacement. Since using the Neutrogena Moisture Body Wrap Lotion there has been a gradual decrease in the amount scaly skin in just 2 weeks. In addition, there is no build-up of the lotion on the skin.

I have very dry skin that easily develops itchy red sores in dry winter weather. For many years I used Neutrogena "deep moisture body lotion" with great success to control this problem. The ingredients of this product included oat meal and no oils. Sadly this product was discontinued. A Neutrogena rep told me that it had been replaced with "moisture wrap body lotion" or "intensive moisture wrap body treatment." So I tried both of these recently and found with one application of each that they make my problem much worse, giving within hours painful red sore welts. I notice that these products do not have oat meal and do have lanolin. I suspect that the lanolin is the problem because I have had the same experience with other brand skin products that contain any kind of oils. So these two "moisture wrap" Neutrogena products are not good for me and I have returned them hoping for the promised refund. However I have recently discovered by browsing on the web that there is another Neutrogena product called "soothing wrap body lotion" that has EXACTLY the same ingredients as "deep moisture body lotion." This product has also been discontinued but at the moment can still be purchased on the web. I have tried it and it works wonders, same as in the past. So I have purchased a life time supply (actually possible for an old guy like me) and hope it will not spoil sitting in a box in my house. I close with the following observation. I have read many similar reviews on the Neutrogena website from people like me, for whom the discontinued products with oatmeal and no lanolin are the only ones that work for a serious skin problem. I join these people in pleading with Neutrogena to make a product with exactly the same ingredients available again. (Who knows, I may live longer than I expect!) So far these pleas are to no avail. Given that it is so special for this group of customers, why not just do it? It would be in keeping with the deserved good reputation that the company has for skin care products.

I have been using Moisture Wrap for a number of years now and when I last ran out I could not find this in our local stores or online here, it was out of stock. I was forced to try another very good brand but it gave me a rash. Then I checked back online and saw it again. So I stocked up and I am again a happy camper. This is an excellent product. It goes on easily and it protects me throughout the day. I know some customers want the old style back but I certainly don't know why. This is a great formula!

I would have given this product ZERO stars if possible. Not nearly as good as the EMULSION lotion it replaced. Please bring back EMULSION!
