New Balance Men's Mw877 Gt Low Top Suede Walking - 9M

I've resisted buying true walking shoes because they are usually so boring and well, just ugly. These seem to be leaning in the classic 990 style running shoe. First few days have been very comfortable. Great for walking, a little trot proves they are def not running shoes. Less cushion and bounce than running styles, but those attributes aren't necessary in a walking shoe. These are stable throughout the length of the shoe, have an ample toe box, and a good combination of flexibility with enough firmness to maintain step energy when walking. Would def buy another pair after these wear out, or another pair now if they came in any running shoe COLOR not black white or gray!

Overall I love the shoe. This is my second pair. Unfortunately, only a month in the pair is suffering from the same problem that happened with the first. The insole of one foot (left foot with this pair, right with the previous) is working it's way out. In just a couple of hours of walking its popping out of the back of the shoe and is very uncomfortable. Until this occurs the shoe is great. It's very comfortable all day, and I work a job where I walk 6-8 miles per day and am on my feet the rest of the time. But once that insole starts working it's way out it's game over. So far nobody I've recommended the shoe too has the same problem, but it will likely keep me from purchasing another pair.

Replacing an older foam product. This one is much tougher, heavier and better padded. I have a wide foot and ordered ""wide' but was surprised the toe of the shoe is round, didn't like that at first but have gotten used to it now. Nice padding for walking, even short runs.

Was comfortable until about 3rd day, then a bump formed under heel and another under ball of foot in the sole of right shoe. Left shoe was ok. The highest string hole can't be used because it goes too high and misses the tongue then bites into flesh. Will stop purchasing New Balance all together because I can't find what I want in local outlets.

All the shoes I ever bought I did because I liked their style. Now I'm 33 and frankly I can't wear those anymore. Just walking in them to the store is painful. I have been struggling to find the right fit shoes. My feet are wide and it's hard to find brands that make wide shoes in general.
