New Yorker Futon

i loved this f uton at first. I found it on sale at my local walmart which was crazy! It was only $200 plus tax. My husband took a long time to put it together but it does have a lot of parts and thats just to be expected with this type of furniture. It does have a great look, but after a year of having it it is sagging in the center very badly and it looks like a 10 year old futon instead of a 1 year old one and the seat cushions never really looked as full as the picture. For the price though its ok.

This a very sturdy futon sofa ,ofcourse with all products you must assemble them "correctly" my son and I took an hour or so to assemble this beautiful ,soft futon that sleeps two full size adults and sits 3-4 average adults has a very high back seating where your head rest very comfortable ,firm cushions,that zipp off for machine wash or just wipe clean.Exspensive in appearence so I try to keep in mind that it is a "FUTON"

This product came in one large box. It was packaged well, came earlier than expected, and looks great. It was a bit harder to put together for one person than it would be for two, but it was able to be done without too much trouble. The seating is comfortable and the cushions are just right. The futon opens up to a single bed and No lumps are felt throughout the night. I added a couple of stripped pillows and some with fringes, and no one can tell I put it together...it fools everyone and it looks quite rich in texture and style.

I feel like I just threw $350 out my window ($250 for the purchase/$100 for shipping.) I've always been a believer in the saying "you get what you pay for" and I should have listened to my instinct when it came to this "sofa". Sure, it can be considered "seating" in the most conventional sense of the word. But it's ugly, wobbly, and COMPLETELY uncomfortable! In hindsight, I would not have paid $10 for this thing. I'm going to try to return it. Otherwise, I'll take it apart and drop it in the dumpster. It's garbage.

I bought this futon just under a year ago. I loved the sleek style and it fit wonderfully in my room. However I have recently found out that the wire supports have broken and the futon is about to fall apart any day now. The big wire frame that is around the perimeter of the futon is fine but the smaller wire mesh that connects to the main part of the frame have broken away from the main frame. Take it from me... this product will not last more than a year! Now I have to find out what kind of warranty it has.
