Nextbase - 222 Dash Cam - Black

We've got this camera in 3 of our vehicles and I bought this one as a gift. Given 4 stars because one of ours does not always stay on so you have to remember to check it to see if it's on. The other 2 have been great. They have good videos and they have saved my hubby on THREE occasions when people in 4 wheelers have HIT HIM while driving in his 18 wheeler.

love this dash cam. i needed one specifically because i do a lot of night driving. And after almost getting t-boned one night, while driving home and not getting a good video; I knew i needed a new camera. I checked the reviews for this one, and decided to try it out. It works wonders, it sees great at night and during the day. The sensor is good as well, i set it off while cleaning the snow off my windshield, but im glad cause i know if someone bumps my truck, or tries to mess with it, the sensor will go off and save a video for me. its also easy to find the videos and upload them if i ever need to. it was easy to set up and im very impressed. I suggest everyone get a dash cam, you never know when youll need one. you will also have to buy a micro sd card as well. i suggest getting a larger gigabyte size so you have multiple days of video before it writes over old video. also you never have to worry about it writing over specific videos you have saved. it creates its own special folder for these, which are easily found on your computer when you upload them.

Easy set up and install, video looks good, will have to get a filter forbthe sunlight but besudes that the only ither issue I had was order it online and pick up for online price ir you will pay regular price, only a $10 difference but just saying. Make sure to pick up a good micro SD card when you purchase.

I don't really dislike anything about it. The suction cup attaches it to the windshield very nicely and it's easy to switch from car to car. Turns on when I start the car. Easy to view on my computer with the app from Nextbase. The first time I used it I didn't realize that it didn't turn off automatically, but that's not a big deal. I really like it!
