Nexxus Therappe Shampoo Ultimate Moisture 13.5 oz

The smell is terrible and the feel is not the same. I first used Nexxus in the 80's Therappe had such a classic coconut scent and they ruined it. Also does not moisturize like it used to. Some things that are classic should be left alone. This is my last Nexxus purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this entire 3 step system! Shampoo has an amazing, light, natural, sweet coconut scent (not like the artificial smell from sunscreen). Reminds me of tropical South East Asian desserts that have coconut milk. Very rich lather that feels more luxurious than your big name brands. Thoroughly cleaned out the grease from my crown without stripping the oils from the rest of the strands.

Ok, Nexxus, how many of these identical reviews do you need before you will listen? I too was a loyal customer, using Therape and Humectress for almost 30 years, when it was a quality salon product recommended and used by my stylist. I gladly paid the higher price tag because of the excellence of the products. Now, the new formula is WORSE than many cheap drugstore brands. If you wanted to save money, at least be honest and rename the products and lower the price to reflect what you are actually selling. You've lost another decades long loyal customer here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wavy, medium length, light brown hair (past my shoulders), and recently switched to using the Nexxus Therappe shampoo after my last hair cut. I think cutting off the dead ends and nourishing my hair with this shampoo has really helped improve the health and feel of my hair. The shampoo smells great and my hair feels very clean and without residue. I usually blow dry my hair straight, but I now even like my natural, wavy hair after using this shampoo.

I'm a male with super thick course hair. I've been using Nexxus Therappe since the late 1980's and it's hands down THE BEST shampoo ever made. It's the only shampoo I've ever used that won't dry out my thick coarse hair. This current formula in my opinion is the best formula yet. I've tried a ton of "moisturizing" shampoos and they all have dried out my hair and made it feel like straw. My first impression with this current formula is awesome! I've been using it now for about two weeks and my hair is the healthiest it's been in a long time. It makes my hair feel moisturized and lubricated,and smells like you're on the beach :^) To the negative reviews about saying it makes your hair oily,it's a moisturizing shampoo,not a clarifying shampoo,so in my opinion it's doing its job by keeping your hair oiled and lubricated. A moisturizing shampoo is not supposed to clean your hair to the point of stripping it. If that's what you're looking for,then Therappe is not for you,you'll need a clarifying/deep cleaning shampoo.  Thanks Nexxus!! Keep making this awesome shampoo!!
