Nice 'n Easy Spicy Browns Collection - 119A Light Spice 1 Each

I honestly have used this product for years. This brand has a ton of colors to chose from. I have used almost all of the browns throughout the years and have not been disappointed. I love the way it makes my hair feel and look natural after I color. It brings out my natural highlights and covers all my grays. The smell is pleasant not full of ammonia like others that I have used in the past. The color lasts for a long time. I will continue to use this product in the future and would recommend it to anyone who dyes their hair. Using the Clairol app I tried on different hair colors. It was an easy way to see my hair in different shades. I bought nice n easy red for natural dark auburn hair. I had just gotten a chic new haircut and coloring my hair at home after that was an affordable way to have a whole new look and cover my greys too! The product instructions were easy to read and the application process was easy. I wished there was a plastic cap included, but I found one in my stash. I wanted to make sure the color didn't get anywhere but my hair while it sat for 25 minutes! The end result is perfect! My friends and coworkers loved the color, and I was glad to see it stayed on my hair but easily washed off my face and neck! I would definitely try Clairol again. This photo is my "after". The color applied evenly except it caused my eyes to sting when I applied it to the roots near my forehead. The color has not washed out and it's been about a week and a half now. Included with the color are gloves that fit small. I have bigger hands and they tore the edges and my hands got stained from the hair color. I like how the box comes with a deluxe size of post-coloring conditioner and it is recommended that the conditioner be used right after coloring and then again about a week later. The Clairol family of products have always been a good brand for me. I used the Clairol Perfect 10 line for years until it was discontinued, and the Nice & Easy products are a good substitute. The color is easy to mix & apply, and then just rinse out at home. The only thing I don't care for (and why I didn't give the product five stars) is that the color takes 25 minutes to process, compared to the old Perfect 10 line, which was MUCH faster (only 10 minutes processing time!) I haven't tried the Nice'n Easy brand in a long time because I had been going to the salon for touch-ups. Since the campaign was running, however, I figured I'd give it a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised! I have very long, mid-back, thick brown hair. I tend to go for cooler browns because I have red in my skin so I try to off-set it with my hair color. But this time I chose a dark brown because I'm starting to get little gray hairs at the top of my head and on the sides, and wanted a complete coverage. So I chose the Natural Dark Brown. It was easy to find and priced very fair. The scent was a chemical-type smell as most hair dyes usually are, but it wasn't overwhelming and was manageable. It came with easy to read instructions and I was able to mix it with no trouble. I worried there might not be enough dye in the kit with how much hair I have, but happily it covered my entire head without any difficulty. I let it set and washed it out with no issues. It was true to the box color and came out a nice, dark brown with no redness. After a couple days of washing, no changes with color and still a nice full coverage. I have been very happy with this hair dye and plan to incorporate it into my hair-coloring routine. I do recommend this brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
