Ninja - Nutri-Blender Pro Personal Blender with Auto-iQ - Cloud Silver

Although the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro With Auto IQ is pretty straight forward, I'm still learning to use it in its entirety. So far we've (my fiance and I) enjoyed making smoothies for work. We like our smoothies pretty thick, so looking back I should've maybe ordered the one for smoothie bowls. Nonetheless it's a good product, and I hope it holds up.

Warranty covers only the motor base unit, not the blades. My Ninja started leaking at the shaft of the blades to get out of the cup into the base unit. It has a limited warranty for one year so I was assuming that I could order a new blade unit no problem. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to assist me on the phone, I received help from a very polite, knowledgeable person but her accent was so heavy I probably did not understand very much of what she said. She said the warranty does not cover the blades but as a 1 time courtesy, they would send out a new part to me at no charge. I was thankful for that, but disappointed that something like leaking at the shaft would not be covered by the warranty. (It had done this from the very beginning in very small amount and gradually got worse) Overall the machine does a good job of making my smoothies but they did decrease the maximum cup liquid volume to 21 oz. My old Ninja had a large 28? oz size cup and 1 21 oz cup. It lasted about 3 years before the motor gave out. I suspect that my next purchase will not be a Ninja. I probably use it on average twice a week and I expected them to hold up better then they are.

It blends well and smoothly, especially smoothies. However, it requires a lot of liquid to get moving. I tried to blend basil leaves in it but the blades didn't cut through them. It's also way louder than I expected. Super easy to clean and convenient design though!

LOVE the blender itself. It's perfect! However I am on go and had to buy extra mugs. When I bought them, no lids came with them. You had to purchase a lid separately. I would hope that you could stand by your product enough to provide lids and not just the cup. It's extremely greedy!

Starting with the pros, this unit is very powerful. In a single pulse the ingredients were already mixed. Leave it running and you are sure to get a well blended smoothie. We're all looking for something that will mix up a good smoothie and the Nutri Blender Pro does just that. Plus, I like the large 24 oz cups and the lids that come with them. But the sound... I was looking for a unit to make smoothies at work, so it was important that I got something on the quiet side, and this is NOT it. This unit is LOUD. After a single pulse trying it at work I immediately had to stop as it sounded like a construction site. I brought it home to use yet it blends at such a high volume I can't possibly use it in the morning if my partner is sleeping. I take it into the bathroom and drape a towel over it! Even if you want to use it while hosting a party, this unit will drown out your guests nearby. It's not exactly a "fun" blended drink maker if it sounds like a jet is taking off from the kitchen. I am not exaggerating. Lastly, the unit uses suction cups on the bottom that are clearly not meant to be removable. I tugged at one and it felt pretty fixed (maybe I have to read the specs again). I want a blender that I can stow away in a cabinet and not have out as a kitchen counter fixture. It is annoying to pull the base up every time and I have to store it upside down so I can pull it out quickly. Overall, this unit is "clunky" and just too loud for comfort. I am pretty sure I am going to return this and keep researching quieter blenders.
