Nintendo DS - Handheld game console - Brain Age 2

Just wanted to let everyone know about the Nintendo DS I purchased for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. She absolutely loved it!!! I was really pleased with the price and thought it was reasonable especially since it came with a case and a game! Also, I liked the fact I could have it delivered to my home and my daughter was none the wiser. This is an excellent product. I also love it because she can play her gameboy advanced games on it as well.

The product is excellent. I enjoy playing Brain Age 2, especially with my grandchildren who are 9 and 5 years old. Since then, I purchased Brain Age (the original one) and now I'm looking to purchase other games. Note, initially I found the DS Lite (only) for $119.00, at another retailer, but chose to purchase from Wal-Mart because they offered the DS Lite, Brain Age 2, and case for $149.00. I saved a few dollars and got the "Bundle" deal from Wal-Mart. I didn't have to leave home and it was delivered to my door. Now that's how I like to shop!

I purchased this bundle for my 12 year old daughter for her birthday in October and she absolutely loves it. She has already bought 2 other games for it and the leather carry case holds 3 games. This system also plays the older style games from the GameBoys which I didn't know. So you get to play the other games on a newer system which makes it great that you don't have a lot of different systems and have to start your game collection over. When my daughter is not using the game system, I am. We both love the BrainAge game, it is really fun and enjoyable! I woul definitely recommend this bundle to anyone. It would make a wonderful Christmas present and the fact that it is a newer color and not found in our area, my girl is one of the first to have this system.

I was one of those fortunate enough to get the bundle that included Brain Age 2 and a case. I love the DS Lite. I love the software. I love the color. I love the case. This handy little system fits easily into my purse, so I've been able to pull it out anytime I had to wait.......like at a couple of doc's appointments. I've bought a few other "games" so I'll be able to use my DS when taking a 15 hour trip for Thanksgiving. My husband drives and we listen to audio books, but I still get bored, so this is something that will keep me busy. I highly recommend Brain Age 2 for keeping your brain motivated. I bought Brain Age 1 and am looking forward to trying it out. I left off one star on the price just because the whole system is pricey for my pocketbook.........but compared to prices elsewhere and with the extras, I would do it again! The only downside has been that I inadvertently scratched the screen. I used my glasses cloth to wipe it and there was a piece of sand inside that scratched it. So you might want to consider buying the screen savers. However, when the games light up, I can't see the scratch, so no real harm done. I also bought a larger case to carry the unit and adapter plug for the trip.....that will keep it clean as well.

After comparing prices & bundles on several websites, I decided to purchase this product from Walmart.com for my youngest son (6yo). He has the hand me down old version of this item which has used 8 of it's 9 lives and we hope it will survive until Christmas. We also trialed the Brain Age game (included in this bundle) and think it's a great educational alternative to the more traditional games we have become accustomed to purchasing. Highly Recommended.
