Great buy~I bought this for my 9yr old daughter for Christmas & I've had as much fun playing with it as her! Of course playing games on it are fun but even without a game this thing is great! We love taking pictures with it & then using the distort or stickers function. You can also draw & animated your own cartoons add sound effect,distort your voice etc.My daughter loves to have her gf over & they both can "text" each other with their Ds... Fun Fun Fun
Hi! This product is amazing! I have had it since Christmas of 2008, & it still works great! The speakers are very loud, the screen is almost completely scratch resistant & its so easy to hold! I let my little sister play on it & she left it open on the floor & my dog stepped on it, but it still worked! Also it charges SUPER fast & once you have it fully charged it will last all day with constant playing! Great for road trips! I would definitely recommend this! Its awesomeness over takes you:)
The bundle Wal-Mart.com offers for their Dsi is superb and comes with everything you'll need as a new Dsi owner... I love this system and what better way to have it all? The downside is they send everything in separate packages... talk about killing trees.
If you are wanting a new toy that can do it all, then this is for you. Great screens, sound, and options. Awsome camera and the mp3 player rocks!!! But if you are wanting something that is compatible with GBA games and chargers than get the DS Lite. I love all the features on my DSi just hate having to get all new games and chargers, and having to keep my old GBA SP with all of its games and chargers. One system that could do all that the DSi can do and be compatible would be so much better. Still is awhole lot of fun!!!!
My 8 year old loves it. Relatively easy to use. She figured most of it out by herself. I like the fact that I could put parental controls on it. My daughter uses the pix chat with her friends and they spend a fair amount of time running to different sections of the house to text one another. The internet function is really slow by my standards but she plays more with the games and distorts the pictures more than she spends time on the internet so it doesn't seem to bother her.
