Nintendo Wii Motion Plus (Wii)

Its to bad you have to purchase this to continue getting the full effect to play Sports Resort. With todays tech we have, it seems to me there could be a better way for the grand children to enjoy the Wii without the cost. As for Walmart services I use them when needed and will continue.

The Motion Plus sensor is necessary for the Wii Sports Resort game. Most times you will receive one free with the purchase of the game, but if you would like to play anything more than one player, you really need one Motion Plus sensor per Wiimote. Some of the games on Wii Sports Resort will allow you to share a single Wiimote, but only a very few. I'm not sure that this sensor makes any difference with any other Wii games. You do receive a silicone sleeve with the sensor, which is nice. I like the fact that I didn't have to pay separate for one to fit both my sensor and Wiimote. You can leave the sensor on and play any of the Wii games, it will not affect playability. I do not have a charger, but I have read reviews for some of the chargers on walmart.com that state they are compatible with the sensor. That might be something to consider if purchasing a charger after this. If the charger isn't compatible, you will have to take the Wiimote out of the sleeve and unattach it in order to place the Wiimote on the charger. That may become bothersome. The price on walmart.com was actually $3 less than at my local store.

I am very pleased with this item and with the quick site to store shipping. I tried to buy this same item from Amazon and they would only let me but one at a time, I have no idea why!! But with 2 kids I needed two so once again I turned to Wal-Mart, and once again they came thru!! Thanks!!

I bought the Wii Motion Plus to go with the Resort Sports Game. This game is fantastic! My grandson and I both like to play it. One motion plus comes with the game and you need to purchase another one for the convenience of two players. Only $20 for the second motion plus. These snap into the bottom of the Wii remotes that you already have and come with the remote cover. The games included with the Resort Sports require much movement, hence, the reason for the motion plus. Both game and motion plus are well worth the money! The Wii Fitness plus board are next for me!

We purchased Sports Resort and an additional Wii Motion Plus (so 2 can play at the same time) and the Motion Plus is so much more realistic than the regular controller. The Motion Plus is very sensitive and picks up the slightest movement to simulate actually playing the sports. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys playing Wii. We look forward to more games being added in the future for the Wii Motion Plus!!!
