Nipple Classic Variable Flow, 3m+

I had to go back to work and dreaded it because it was hard finding a bottle my son would eat from. The only thing I was concerned with was if he would drink from a bottle. I was on the hunt for the perfect bottle and was given this bottle for being part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I really like the idea of a variable nipple. This made the transition of being exclusively breastfed to using a bottle easier. My son preferred the 3+ months nipple and after a few attempts he drank from the bottle. This bottle is specifically for anti-colic and gas. I did not notice a significant difference in that regard, but only because before trying this bottle, he was exclusively breastfed. The bottle and the nipples are very good quality. We are also able to put rice cereal to keep his tummy a bit more full!1

I have always planned to be a nursing mama who also incorporates bottles from time to time to give myself a break and also allow my husband to bond with our daughter. However my daughter has refused every single bottle. Or the few times I'd get her to take one she'd get a gassy upset stomach from the air getting in the nipple. This bottle is amazing to say the least. You can physically watch it push the air out of the nipple, so there is no more worries. I am so beyond pleased with this product I'd recommend to any mama out there! And double bonus she uses this bottle just fine and still nurses perfectly fine with zero nipple confusion! This bottle doesn't leak too much, it does do a slow drip but honestly I don't even mind because this bottle has been so amazing for me. Also my 9 month old drops and bites it so it could just be that she is rough on things. My husband and I were finally able to go on a date for the first time in 7 months because we finally are able to have someone feed and watch our baby now that she will finally take a bottle!

Those bottle is nice! My baby is currently not dealing with colic, but I will say air getting in belly has reduced! I could see how helpful this bottle would be if that were current. The different size nipples were helpful as well to see preferences. The only con is that at night it's tough to see, as you do need to save the internal spout a certain way for maximum reduced airflow but overall it keeps the milk in the nipple and feeds baby beautifully! We've been trying to get our 7 month old breastfed baby to take a bottle for a while. I was hopeful that the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Baby Bottle Variable Flow nipples would help since they have different flow options and we'd find one that worked well for her. I really liked that the nipple stayed filled up with milk even when it was being held horizontally. That seems like it would help prevent gas issues from unwanted air being sucked it and would keep the flow of milk moving. My daughter wasn't quite as impressed though! Sadly, she did not take to the nipple well. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Nipple to try.

I love the variable flow nipples because it's basically customized nipples to suit your child's needs. With this, you don't have to purchase multiple different nipples. The wide shape also makes it super easy to clean. We have fed breastmilk, formula, and milk with this. Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for sending us these. We will be changing all our bottles to Avent because of the convenience and great design!
