Nite Guard Control Light

I purchased my first 2 five years ago to discourage raptors from eating my chihuahuas. They are still going strong today. We are now on a small farm with chickens, ducks, sheep, and goats. We have 2 livestock guardian dogs, but coyotes have been walking our fence line. They even crushed a portion of our fencing in the back (but no tracks inside the fence). Our Pyrenees was determined and did escape the fencing to chase them off and was gone all night. I bought 4 more of these to place 2 on each side and the back of the fencing to keep temptation away from my dogs. I haven’t seen any coyote tracks in the snow along our fence line since. I did see their new tracks, though.... they were 2 houses north of us (roughly 1,000 ft), and walking the same direction—into the back woods. While the dogs still know the coyotes are around, it’s not as desperate a situation as before, so they are calmer.

I bought this produce about a month ago. Thought it was working because I hadn't had any animals trying to get to our bird feeder. I placed the nite guard about 10 feet away and 4 ft above the deck and it pointed right at the bird feeder. Bears a now coming around and destroying the bird feeder. I think they get used to the light and in time the nite guard becomes useless. Don't waste you money!

I bought a dozen of these Nite Guard Solar-Powered Night Predator Lights and they work as advertised! To test them, I have one sitting in the window above the kitchen sink. During the day, it just sits there collecting solar energy & charging an internal battery. When the sun goes down, and I turn off the lights for the night, it starts flashing. And it's bright enough to see from quite a distance. Works perfectly!

I desperately wanted these to work to keep the deer and rabbits away from the ground cover I am trying to grow on our bank on our commercial lot. They may have worked a bit right at first, but after a month, the problem has not diminished at all. We still have plants that have been stripped and deer and rabbit droppings everywhere.

I really like it ...it seems that the critters are scared of it. Even when I forget to close the gate. I have been checking it for a while and it works after sunset till dawn. The nice part about it is that I don't have to put batteries in it, it is totally solar. Great gadget!
