Having lived in Hong Kong for 5 years, I was hoping this would be a way to get that aroma and flavor I found in the marketplaces from the fresh roasted pork. It was a reasonable substitute for cooking at home, but not an amazing dish for the family. The coloring is so artificial looking it's hard to imagine it's truly a food product...and the pink color only soaks into the meat to a certain point (unlike the true color from smoking meats.) It was fast and convenient and it made us feel like we were eating something unique, but I think I would make the effort next time to follow a proper recipe rather than buying these crystals of flavor.

Quite excited for this since it's fast and very convenient to make char Sui food with this pack. I sure hope it has the flavour I'm looking for to add with my pork dishes as I'll be cooking this soon for my family. Can't wait to smell the bbq-ish aroma!

Package serving size is just right for a family of 4 when using in a recipe. The taste is flavorful, composition of ingredients are quality and easy to fix. The benefit is eating a restaurant meal at home without the high cost ! we like this product and will buy again I recommend.
