The gate overall is a pretty good design except I did not like the 4 point latch and found it difficult to latch/unlatch. If it had a spring mechanism that pulled the gate upward from the L bracket connections it would be much easier to unlatch. The tiered width seemed to make it misalign vertically at the latching points. The quality was very good and extremely simple to install. Mainly the latching part was my dislike. We were trying to use at the kitchen entrance to keep our dogs out and the latch became too cumbersome for the frequent use so am returning it.

This gate is the best purchase I have ever made. It was easy to set up and is very easy to use. I have a one and a two year old and this is the first gate that I have bought that they have not been able to get through. It can be opened with one hand, but is not so easy to open that little ones can figure it out. I am also happy that it can be compacted and swung to the side when not in use. Highly recommended!

This gate works great for our new puppy. Slides open and closed and will even swing open & closed. He can see through the holes but can't get under. I'm sure would work great for a toddler too. I would recommend this product. Great product for the price and the ship to store was great too.

It is a really good product, our babies not even try to get by or around, but it was a hassle to set up, u will need a level and a pencil, and a lot a patience also it is kind of hard to open, my mother in law has not been able to open it, and she doesn't suffer any hand related illnes, she just says it is too hard, so beware, other than that it is a very helpfull device.

I purchased this gate to keep my pup off the carpet. It installed quickly and works perfectly. This was well worth the money. It swings open and then you can push it aside when it is open. If you have a large opening and need to use a gate, this is the one to buy. The latch opens very easily and the construction is sturdy. Even when the pup constantly jumps up on it, it is stable and sturdy. Would recommend this for anyone shopping for this type of product.
