my little one has his two top teeth and due to the stiffness and form of the suction part of the cup. My son's lips tucked under the sipping part causing to bite himself in his upper lip and bleed. He knows how to use these cups, but this one isn't a recommended one.
We bought three of these because of all the great reviews we heard about it but our son doesn’t like them at all. I do love the color and the way it looks. It’s a shame we don’t have a use for them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought this cup a couple months ago and my daughter loved it... Until it started leaking. We found a small tear in the valve so now it leaks everywhere. Liquid comes out too fast and she is now not happy with it. Came to the website hoping to find replacement valves, but no luck... Super disappointed!
I purchased the sippy cup and the straw cup of the Nuk Everlast about 7 months ago and overall I am satisfied with my purchase. However, I am frustrated because the silicone seal on the sippy cup lid has developed a bumpy, hard growth on it after 5 months of use. It appears as the seal is faulty and the Nuk promise to outlast toddler-hood has fallen short. I would like to get a replacement lid, however it seems as though that is not an option. I feel that is wasteful since the cup portion is still in good condition.
I was given this Nuk Everlast Sippy Cup to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My son is 14 months old and we are trying to work on getting him to drink more water from his sippy cups so I was excited to give this one a try. Unfortunately for us, my son did not seem to like the hard spout on this cup and seemed to have difficulty figuring out how to get liquid out of it (he is used to a 360 cup). However. the hard spout may work well for other kids who tend to bite through soft spouts. I personally found the two parts of the lid very difficult to take apart to clean, which was frustrating. A pro of the cup is that it does seem to be pretty resistant to leaks and spills. It also holds a good amount of liquid so it would not need to be refilled as often for kids who are big drinkers. The shape of the cup and the silicon grip seem good for children to hold onto while drinking. It would have been nice to have a cover for the spout to keep it clean when away from home.
