nüvi 265W Automobile Navigator

After reading previous reviews of this product I expected to be amazed with this GPS but I really wasn't. However, I will admit to being a bit finicky with electronic devices. After just a few weeks, I have already noticed a few map errors in my own town so it makes me wonder how accurate it would be elsewhere. A random request to have it take me from home to my daughter's daycare sent me a few blocks out of the way to the most traveled route, not the best and shorter route. Also had a few issues with the bluetooth speaker phone disconnecting when I pushed the answer button. On the plus side, it was easy as pie to connect to the bluetooth with my Verizon VX11000 and the automatic loading of my contacts is a cool feature. The display is easy to read whether in bright sunlight or dark of night. You can download different vehicles and character voices from the Garmin website. And this unit really is user friendly right from the box. The suction mount has held without letting go of my windshield, even in the extreme cold we have had recently. Even though it didn't meet my expectations, I am still quite satisified with this GPS and I think it's a great value at around $100. No regrets with this purchase.

I ordered this as a gift. When the gift was opened there were no instructions in ENGLISH. NONE! It was supposed to tell you the speed limit of the street that you are driving on, as of yet we've not been able to make that feature work. We have no idea how to use all of the wonderful features it "supposedly" has. I paid EXTRA just to get the speed limit feature. This has been the worst Wal Mart purchase EVER.*******************************

it's alway good to know that help is only a finger touch away. Garmin for me at least are the best.

the garmain gps is very reliable & easy to use. it is convient & portable . i use it every where i go even when i dont need it. I RECOMMED this product to everybody with a vehicle.

This is my first GPS i have owned and i love it! I dont have anything to compare it to, but it works great. the only complaint i have is when i try to answer a call the "answer" touch screen button does not recognize it well. sometime i miss the calls. I love the hands free device it has and how it says the name of the street.... most dont.
