This fan would run for a few hours or a few minutes and would start going off and on every few seconds. It did this plugged into the wall or on battery power. The fan has potential with its rechargeable battery, alkaline battery, and AC capabilities. However, the rechargeable battery will only run the fan for a few hours; not enough to make it through a night, and it takes lots of alkaline batteries (8 D's). Maybe this one was just a bad unit, but it did not work for us.

I bought one of these fans last year. I have found it most useful. Power goes out and the fan keeps on going. Great to take to outdoor events. I went back and bought 2 more, although, I got mine for 19.99 on a clearance shelf. I keep one at work, I never know if it is just me that is hot or not, one in my bedroom, (for the night sweats), and one in my computer room. It is true that I have not gotten as many hours of charge as advertisement states. but who cares? I have cool air within my reach for whenever Mother Nature decides to "flash" me.

As I live in a hurricaine prone area I was looking for a battery powered fan for when the power went out. I found just what I needed on WalMart's website. It not only runs on rechargable batteries but it also uses regular batteries as well as a car charger. It's also a wonderful size, large enough to keep me cool but very light weight. It is a great product and the website is a great way to shop.

I've been looking for a portable fan for the longest time. And this rechargable fan fits the bill. During my lunch hour I like to take naps in my car. And the summer weather in Calif it gets pretty hot even with all the windows rolled down. This fan is really light weight, quiet, feels sturdy and does what it's supposed to do, keep you cool. I would definately recommend this fan to anyone. Great for traveling, even comes with a car adapter.
