OLFA Deluxe Rotary Cutter 60mm-

My issue was never remembering to close the cover on my cutters, thus I was always nicking my fingers on open blades lying on my work table. So I got this cutter with an auto-close feature. Only then did I realize that it not only kept my fingers safe—it was also the best and most comfortable cutter ever. This is all you'll ever need.

I have had the 28mm and 45mm rotary cutters for decades, but with the addition of a granddaughter who loves to explore the sewing studio with Oma, I wanted a safety oriented cutter. Also, I know make quilts for new moms using minky, and needed the ability to cut through thicker textiles. The 60mm Ergonomic Rotary Cutter has been the perfect tool addition to my studio. Easy to use, handles batting and thicker fabrics, and quickly closes over the blade and allows locking. Soooo pleased with this addition.

I have tried many different rotary cutters. This is by far my favorite! The 60mm size allows control. The safe ergonomic grip is very comfortable and effective. And the endurance blade works fantastically! This set up is not inexpensive, but absolutely worth the price!

When I learned to quilt in the early 90s the class was entirely hand work. No rotary cutters or sewing machines were used. What a blessing to move on to rotary cutters. My favorite one is the ergonomic 60mm. It handles well, love the automatic closing, and reduces cutting time because the blade is larger. Thank you for a good product.
