I never received my order. My package was delivered to the wrong house and Walmart said that was too bad that's my problem. I sent Walmart Pictures of my home proving that the delivery photo did not match my house and Walmart still did not care. They insisted my package was delivered even though I did not get it. It seems there was a delivery mix and I understand things happen but Walmart needs to do better and not treat its customers like dirt.
I've used lots of oil based deck stains. Since ingredients not listed on container, wasn't sure whether this was oil based, but spontaneous combustion warning made me think it was. However, when applied I noticed it didn't smell like an oil stain, also didn't absorb into wood like oil based. Runs, drips occur, of course, and with oil stains re-wiping is all that's needed unless completely dried. This stuff however "sets" within minutes and nearly impossible to remove run-drip marks by overwiping. See photo. Very dissatisfied!
Bought in spray form and followed directions only lightly spraying between coats. Gloopy and does not absorb into wood. Can even be removed when touching product (probably could also take off with putty knife). Finally had to remove product using sand paper and heavy grit steel wool. Big mess, very time-consuming. At the very least would like my money back. Obviously do not recommend.
Covers well and makes the water bead. Good price.
I put this on EXACTLY how it said and if I knew a lawyer I would sue this company! I have a 30 feet by 32 feet porch that cost over $6,000 to build and if only you could see it after this. If wal mart attaches tge pictures..the steps to the right were what it looked like before and now look at it....looks like i threw a bunch of clay mud on it and streaked the crap out of it here and there and poured a whole gallon in other places..this stuff is crap and ruined my $6,000 deck! Thank god i wasn't stupid enough to do the 20x20 patio its connected to as well. Now I don't know what to do but spend god knows how much sanding it and then just painting it. Yay more money because of a suck 455 product!
