Does everything that I want
I haven't checked this at my doctors" office, but did against several public health stations. The readings are comparable. There is a mode that does 3 readings a minute apart and then averages them. That's a plus. You can still view each reading. I found the cuff fine for my average sized arm. There is an indicator that lets you know if the cuff is on properly. 2 users can maintain their reading in memory separately. The one thing I wish it had was the ability to do a data dump directly into my computer. A subsequent somewhat more costly model has that feature. If you want to keep that record you can manually enter your data into an Excel spreadsheet.
My family got this blood pressure monitor just to have on hand mainly. We like the fact that it uses an outlet and therefore we don't need to worry about batteries. It seems accurate enough based on comparing it to the readings I get when I donate blood or have a doctor's appointment, which is a total of maybe 6 times a year. I would recommend it, we have had no problems with it, but then again we don't use it a lot.
Especially like the large memory, heart rate monitor, anddual function so my wife and I can both keep track of our readings. Cuff is a little hard to use until you learn how. Critical to read instructions before using. Makes it a lot easier. Good value for the money.
I could not get this monitor to work properly. It would tell me it was on correctly, inflate, then give an error. This happened 6 out of 8 tries. At that point, I gave up--I don't want a monitor that I can not use efficiently and that I can not rely on. I am a heavy-set woman with a larger arm, and I believe that is the problem. I have an old monitor that I bought a large cuff for and it works perfectly. I just wanted a more advanced machine to keep track of my BP, but I think I will just stick to the one that I know works.
