This mic stand is very sturdy. For a stationary performer it is pretty good.
Heavy duty, sturdy microphone stand. Only negative is that it does not include the clip to attach the microphone. Picked one up at a music store for $6.
Nowhere in the description does it tell you that the clip that holds the microphone is not included! Without the clip the stand is completely useless. I was able to find it on amazon.com for less than 5 bucks, walmart.com doesn't even carry it.
