Bought this for my 10 year old son for his violin music. He really likes the stand. It easily holds his music book and several individual sheets of music. It's really easy for him to set-up and take down, and he likes the convenient storage bag. I was worried it would be too flimsy. It's not a heavy-duty music stand but it is a GREAT value for the price.
I gave this to my daughter for Christmas. She said it's just like the ones they use in band class. It comes with its own carrying case and folds to a compact size. The height is adjustable and the feet are very stable when extended. My daughter loves it!
I had no where to put my music in my room which frustated me terribly so I found this product and no more leaning over to try and see music! I was so happy ^^ I could set it up anywhere in my room and it doesn't take up space when I'm not using it(which makes me even happier) It's a great product and I would recommend it to any one with limited space and no where to set their music where they can see it.
well you get what you pay for!..it just barely holds my book upright..if i touch the book the neck folds back so that is annoying..also the adjustable body isnt that great either..no matter how tight the nob is the body still will slide down.. oh well its just ok
This is a good value music stand. It's inexpensive, relatively attractive (in black), and sturdy enough. The adjustable parts (height and tilt) rely on tightening a thumb-knob and is purely friction--there are no detents or anything to help. I find the stand cannot hold up two music lesson books without flopping back. It can hold one easily, but you really have to crank down on the knob which adjusts the tilt.
