I read the other reviews so I knew what to expect, and it works as expected. Was a very good value from Walmart.com. To make the front output HDMI plug not so obtrusive, I used a 90° adapter as shown in the attached image. Needed 2 but 1 is better than none. Also you can see how bright the blue led light is, so a little paint or tape would help there. And finally the remote, it works but just barely. If you have a learning remote, the best thing would be to incorporate the IR codes from the Onn remote and put it in a drawer somewhere.

Switch is built sturdy but like others said, the output could have been designed on either of the sides or on the back side as the inputs AND the remote has to be used WITHIN less than 1 feet of this box for it to work. Returned this box due to these issues.

First HDMI Switch i've Every purchased that does everything it is supposed to. Auto switching when I turn on the different systems hooked up, turns off when not in use. Picture quality is prefect with no lag. I used this to switch between my Xbox 1, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Works great! Highly recommend over the cheaper alternatives on Amazon.

Pros - For starters, the actual switch unit is good. I am constantly switching through 5 ports and I haven't had any issues with it. Cons - Like other reviewers have said, the "remote" is absolute garbage and only works from less than a foot away and is so cheaply made that using it for less than a week has made the top cover warp. The good news is that there is an actual switch button on the switch.

Remote only works if about a foot from machine. We tried everything. The weight (lack of) of the remote should have told me it wouldn't work, it's cheap. Also-even worse is the output in the front versus the back. WHY? it makes the machine flip all over and twist and turn. Horrible design. Returning it as the remote is useless and we would have to manually switch it which defeats the purpose. Try another design/brand and save the ridiculous hassle.
