Good for what I need. Thx
This is perfect. Been looking for a while, and I finally found this antenna mount. It is exactly what I needed to mount my outside antenna without spending a fortune. I you're looking for a reasonable priced mount you've found it right here. Easy set-up, easy mounting without giving up on quality, stainless, and it includes all the parts necessary to mount your equipment just about anywhere you desire. If you're looking for an alternative means to mount your equipment on your home, then try this. It's easy to install, verses a 25 ft pole that isn't easy to install by yourself. Then this is the antenna mount I would recommend. .And at this price how can you possibly pass this up. Give it a try. I think you'll agree that for a pole to mount a motorized antenna on the roof that looks professional, you wont be disappointed. Sceptical? Of course, don't take my word for it, try it yourself and you'll agree, for the price and quantity, how can you go wrong. You can't. And if not satisfied, well just return it and try to find something better.not likely. Oh, and it arrived the next day. That kinda service is second to nobody.
Question rather then a review. What information is available about wind loading? I have a dipole Commercial VHF antenna, on its own, weighing about 15lbs. I have a 1" galvanized pipe mount for installation in a cedar tree but I'm getting old and would rather not have to climb it.. The advantage there the higher the more range for listening on my various scanners. Just looking for something that is sound enough to handle the weight and wind without having to use support guy wires. I'm not above using them or putting up a larger mast but would rather not. 5 year old roof and no holes. Had one up before for TV ant. Took down for new roof. Any constructive suggestions? The antenna I'm talking about is about 4.5' tall, fold over dipole Motorola antenna.
Sturdier than I expected, it comes with all the brackets you need, along with all the screws
My only problem with it is it was broken on one of the rings that support the last which rendered it unstable and unable to be lengthened. The box had the appearance of being handled in a manner which left it mashed to the point of having to be taped together in order to be delivered. I'll not be returning it nor will I reorder, my greatest dissapointment with my order is it really wasn't what I looked forward to or expected at all. I'm thankful the cost didn't exceed my expectations.
